What's our way to thank God for his hard work......
Posted On 23/04/2008 09:27:27
God thank hard work

My house in on a hill... one day standing outside my house I captured God's beautiful gift, called nature, into my eyes.....

Watching outside my home.... I saw nature's true colors....I saw nature's love for us....I saw God's work of art.... I saw God's hard work to gift us with beautiful surroundings....and realized how we are thankful to His hard work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the beginning of spring season, so God has gifted the trees and plants with young green leaves.... He painted few trees with white color, bearing white flowers all over..... few trees were red in color, with tiny red flowers all over.... few are in orange color....few He painted in yellow color, with tiny yellow flowers all over the tree and bushes.... This entire scene appeared as if someone has colored the trees, plants and bushes in whatever color He liked... and no doubt that someone is GOD Himself.....

God has created the most beautiful creature that is WE, the human beings and He gifted us with lovely NATURE.... but we are so busy with our daily routine that we have no time for God's precious gift.... We are so engaged in our day to day life that we are not taking care of His valued gift to us.....

We are utilizing His greatest gift to us thats our brain, but we are using that for our benefits only.. We are constructing sky kissing buildings, fast means of communications, tunnel underneath water, bridges in the air and lots more..... We are discovering new means of entertainment and new gadgets to provide more comfort..... We have even reached the moon and are trying to conquer on different planets other than Earth......but in all this we have forgotten about our surroundings, we have no time to think about our environment, we are least bother to care for the gift given by Him...... We have lost the practice of getting comfort from the nature than depending more on man-made medicines......

I know everyone of us like to be surrounded by flowers and trees and plants ....... in fact to have lots of gifts all around..... Nature follows a simple rule - “So shall u reap, as u sow”.... so if we care for our environment then we too will get care in return, if we protect our surroundings then we too will be protected by it, if we gift the nature with more plants then we too will be gifted ----- in the form of fresh air and food and flowers......

I know that most of us think on this, most of us talk on this and almost everyone knows this but how many of us bring it into practice?? How many of us really work for it?? How many of us really thank God for his lovely gift??? How many of us.................??????????????

Father forced to sell son

to save daughter

In Jhansi, a man has who has been struggling to collect money for his
daughter's treatment has done the unthinkable. He is forced to sell
his son, so that he can save the life of his daughter.

Sixteen-year-old Babita has a hole in her heart. She has to be
operated upon, which will cost Rs three lakh.

Babita's father Mahesh Rajak doesn't have the money. He can think of
selling the only asset he has, Devendra, his thirteen-year-old son.

''I want to get my daughter operated upon, but I have no money. This
is why I have put up my son for sale,'' said Mahesh Rajak, Babita's
father.

For Babita, it's the worst trauma. It's a choice between her life and
her brother.

''I want to live, but my father is a poor man and he has no money for
my treatment,'' said Babita, Devendra's sister.

As Mahesh and his family wait for buyers for Devendra, the deadline
for their daughter's surgery is drawing close.

We say India is one of the largest economies in the world, but when I
see these things... I cant stop think where we are heading... :(

Diffrence between Appraisal and Resignation
Posted On 28/03/2008 09:27:24
Difference

A newly joined trainee engineer asks his boss "what is the meaning of appraisal?"

Boss: "Do you know the meaning of resignation?"

Trainee: "Yes I do"

Boss: "So let me make you understand what a appraisal is by comparing it with resignation"

Comparison study: Appraisal and Resignation

**********
In appraisal meeting they will speak only about your weakness, errors and failures.

In resignation meeting they will speak only about your strengths, past achievements and success.

**********
In appraisal you may need to cry and beg for even 10% hike.

In resignation you can easily demand (or get even without asking) more than 50-60% hike.

**********

During
appraisal, they will deny promotion saying you didn't meet the
expectation, you don't have leadership qualities, and you had several
drawbacks in our objective/goal.

During
resignation, they will say you are the core member of team; you are the
vision of the company how can you go, you have to take the project in
shoulder and lead your juniors to success.

**********

There is 90% chance for not getting any significant incentives after appraisal.

There is 90% chance of getting immediate hike after you put the resignation.

**********

Trainee: "Yes boss enough, now I understood my future. For an appraisal I will have to resign!!!"

The Gossip

The Gossip

A woman repeated a bit of gossip about a neighbor. Within a few days
the whole community knew the story.

The person it concerned was deeply hurt and offended.

Later the woman responsible for spreading the rumor learned that it
was completely untrue.

She was very sorry and went to a wise old sage to find out what she
could do to repair the damage.

" Go to the marketplace," he said, "and purchase a chicken, and have
it killed. Then on your way home, pluck its feathers and drop them one
by one along the road."

Although surprised by this advice, the woman did what she was told.

The next day the wise man said, "Now go and collect all those feathers
you dropped yesterday and bring them back to me."

The woman followed the same road, but to her dismay, the wind had
blown the feathers all away. After searching for hours, she returned
with only three in her hand.

" You see," said the old sage, "it's easy to drop them, but it's
impossible to get them back.

So it is with gossip. It doesn't take much to spread a rumor, but once
you do, you can never completely undo the wrong."

IMPORTANT INFORMATION !!!!!!!
DON'T IGNORE

Please don't attend or make any call while your mobile is on charging mode.

*A few days ago, a person was recharging his cell phone at home.

*Just at that time a call Came in and he answered it with the Instrument still connected to the outlet. *

*After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud. *

*His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with a weak *

*heartbeat and burnt fingers. *

*He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. *

*Cell phones are a very useful modern invention. *

*However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death. *

*Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet! *
*
*

May be it was a cheaper variety of mobile phone but why take chances with your life and that of
your family. What is the urgency to answer that phone call when your phone is being charged.?

Switch off the charger or disconnect your phone from the charger when answering your mobile phone.
