Rukh Hawaaon ka jidhar hai, udhar ke Hum hain
Pehle her Cheez thi apni magar ab lagta hai
Apne hi ghar mai kisi Dusre Ghar ke Hum hain
Waqt ke saath hai Mitti ka Safar Sadiyon tak
Kisko Maloom kahan ke hain, kidhar ke Hum hain?
Chalate rehte hain k chalna hai Musaafir ka Naseeb
Sochte rehte hain k kis Rah-Guzar ke Hum hain
Gintiyon mai hi gine jate hain her Daur mai Hum
Her Qalam-kaar ki Benaam khabar ke Hum hain..

I want to make you smile as you make me.
I wish you saw my thoughts right through my eyes.
You ask me what I'm thinking. I can't tell you.
You are the stars, and I the empty skies.
In me there is a yearning ever flowing
That needs to reach an end that never comes.
I cannot be myself without you with me.
This is a truth no wisdom ever plumbs.
You laugh, and say that I'm your personal angel,
And this is what I want so much to be.
The beauty of my life is like a passion
That blows right through the person that you see....

My heart flows like a river,
Spilling its emotions into a sea
In which the truth moves unseen,
Swimming with silent grace,
Too monstrous for light or land.

And easiest to understand...

My consciousness alone with us in the darkened room.

Silently it sings and I listen.
Motionless it dances and I watch.

Nor hopes that one immersed in mourning hears,

Offering a wisdom far too bright
To soothe your pain or put to rest your fears.

There must be time to grieve that sorrow might
Be equal to the love of days and years.

You Taught Me How to Laugh Again
You taught me how to laugh again
And gave me back my smile,
Restored my faith in people when
Everyone seemed vile.
You were as if the sun came up
Upon my bitter night
And bade the blackness rustle up
Some joyful morning light.
And inexplicably my heart
Rose up and twirled me round,
So sudden in its expert art
I scarcely touched the ground.
With you I am still filled with light
And all my feelings dance.
You are my song, my wings, my flight,
My truth and my romance..
