Your love is like a candle
Your flame will always fly,
I know you will live inside of me
Until the day, that I die.
But when my death day comes
I know my life won't end,
Because I will live eternally
With you, my loving and bestest friend.  
I place my hope in you
For you alone are Lord,
There could never be another
I could ever love more.
There’s no one that comes closer
To you in my life,
For you are my closest friend
In whom I can confide.
And share my deepest longings
My hurts and my fears,
Knowing you will understand
And wipe away my tears.
Knowing I can come to you
Morning, noon and night,

But give ear to my plight.

For you are full of constant love
And listen when I pray.
Your love was such that you died
My soul you came to save,
From certain eternal misery
Awaiting beyond the grave.
But now in you I can be sure

Freed from pain and misery
With eternal joy too.
My Friend
 When true friendship
binds two individuals together,
that bond can never be broken.
For in times of confusion,
I will be there to listen to you.
In times of sadness,
I will be there to console you.
In times of anger,
I will be there to talk with you
even when miles separate us.
My friend,
when you are confused,
when you are sad,
when you are angry,
search your heart,
and I will be there.
I am and always will be
your friend.
Four brothers left home for college, and they became successful doctors and lawyers and prospered. Some years later, they chatted after having dinner together. They discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly mother who lived far away in another city.
The first said, "I had a big house built for Mama."
The second said, "I had a hundred thousand dollar theater built in the house."
The third said "I had my Mercedes dealer deliver an SL600 to her."
The fourth said, "You know how Mama loved reading the Bible and you know she can't read anymore because she can't see very well. I met this preacher who told me about a parrot that can recite the entire Bible. It took twenty preachers 12 years to teach him. I had to pledge to contribute $100,000 a year for twenty years to the church, but it was worth it. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse and the parrot will recite it."
The other brothers were impressed. After the holidays Mom sent out her thank you notes. "She wrote: "Milton, the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I have to clean the whole house. Thanks anyway."
"Marvin, I am too old to travel. I stay home, I have my groceries delivered, so I never use the Mercedes. The thought was good. Thanks."
"Michael, you gave me an expensive theater with Dolby sound, it could hold 50 people, but all my friends are dead, I've lost my hearing and I'm nearly blind. I'll never use it. Thank you for the gesture just the same."
"Dearest Melvin, you were the only son to have the good sense to give little thought to your gift. The chicken was delicious. Thank you."
Life is a miracle, don't let it slip away, Open your heart to others; give of yourself each day. See the beauty in everyone regardless of where they've been, Some have a difficult journey and really need a friend. Share your gifts and talents; listen with your heart. Do the things you dream about but don't have time to start. Pick a bouquet of flowers; show someone that you care, Be gracious and forgiving; life is never fair. Hold on to your courage, you may need it down the road, We all have a cross to bear; it could be a heavy load. If you practice all these things no matter where you roam, You may find both sun and rain, but you'll never feel alone

There are treasures in life,
But owners are few
Of money and power

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow,
