kuch baatein bhooli hui,


kuch paal beete hue,


har galti ka ek naya bahana,


aur fir sabki nazar mein aana,


exam ki puri raat jaagna,


fir bhi sawal dekh kaar sar khujlana,


mauka mile to class bunk marna,


fir dosto kay saat coffee pine jaana,


uski ek jhalak dekhne roz school aana,


dekhte dekhte attendance bhul jana,


har pal ek naya sapna,


aaj jo tute fir bhi hai apna


vo school ke din ,


yaad kar ke in palon ko fir zindgi bhar muskurana!!!!!!!!

In the endless sea of innocence


Deep within an infant’s eyes


Drifts the unsinkable ship of


Truth, with its sails on high





Silent, serene and sincere – his


Peaceful eyes can be described;


But this is the defines his today,


Tomorrow belongs to the other side





He’ll envelope himself by grotesque


Sheets of unbreakable complexity


And bind his existence with falsehood


By chains of long corrupted fantasy.





But his soul will cling to on to it,


All through, and discreetly nurture


It’s complexity – allowing the rhythm


Of his life defy the rhythm of nature





But neither autumn’s red-lipped fruitage


Nor the spell of spring lasts all day.


No matter how long it breathes, no


Matter whatever it be, it fades away





And so will those eyes, one dusk


Break free from its cold hard shell


But alas! Just to seep into another


And in it for a new week dwell!

That was not love,


that faintly sweet scent


wafting into


my consciousness.





It's flavour so soft, so


Insubstantial.


Fulfilled by the sweetness


of a glance.





Content to exist


just in secret


Tender, bashful,


undemanding.





No hint of logic,


No reason, or rime


Foolish, trivial


And yet so sublime...





A water-colour painting,


subtly toned,


A child's soap-bubble—


Rainbow hued.





At it's most tangible


Like candy-floss, to


fill me with sweetness, then


melt away.

Forget about the days


when its been cloudy, but


don't forget your hours in the sun





Forget about mistakes


that you can't change now, but


don't forget the lessons


that you've learned





Forget about the times


you've been defeated, but


don't forget the victories you've won





Forget about misfortunes


you encounter, but


don't forget the times your luck has turned





Forget about the days


when you've been lonely, but


don't forget the friendly smiles you've seen





Forget about the plans


that didn't seem


to work out right, but...

Us raah se kisi ko gujar ne na diya

Dard se dosti ho gayi hai doston,


Zindagi bedard ho gayi hai doston,


Kya hua jo jal gaya aashiyana humara,


Magar door tak roshni ho gayi hai doston

Zuban hi sirf ek zaria nahi


Jo aap lafzon ko samajh paayenge


kabhi aankhon mein jhaank kar dekhiye


Hazaro alfaz khud-ba-khud bikhar jayenge

Chaman ko chaman ki baharon ne loota


sahil ko kishti aur kinaro ne loota


aap to ek hi kasam se dar gaye


hume to aapki kasam de kar hazaron ne loota
