The National Institute of Technology, Raipur formerly known as GEC Raipur was eshtablished in 1956. The construction work was completed in 1962 and inauguration was done on 1963-03-14 by India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It has produced a great number of successful engineers.
This year placement of insti is approached to 100% mainly in mechanical branch.due to new NIT the developement rate is so fine. Placement cell is trying for max placement.
