. Related Hadith: Umar bin Abu Salamah (RA) said: I was a boy under the

Be in the world as though you were a stranger
-
On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, who said: The messenger of Allah took me by the shoulder and said:
"Be in the world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer."
The son of Omar used to say:
"At
evening do not expect [to live till] morning, and at morning do not
expect [to live till] evening. Take from your health for your illness
and from your life for your death."

The Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) said, " None of you should wish
for death because of a calamity befalling him; but if he has to wish for death,
he should say: "O Allah! Keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and let
me die if death is better for me.' " Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.575 Narrated by
Anas bin Malik (r.a.)

Narrated Sahl:
The Prophet said, "There is a gate in Paradise called
Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection
and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to
observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their
entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it." Bukhari Volume 3, Book 31, Number 120
