And once when they get addicted to it

1. They simply do not want to stop it.

2. They can not do that.

Addiction to anything (cigarettes, alcohol ) works in our minds. It looks like a small imp, sitting in the brains and telling you: “Hey, man, don’t be a dweeb. Just give me another portion of poison”. The main weapon against addiction is human will, because it also works in our minds.

probably because they underestimate the long term consequences of these bad habits

smoking---lung cancer

alcohol----liver damage

or mayb they just like slow poison...:P
