Aquarius is the second studio album by the Danish dance-pop band Aqua's. It was released on March 21, 2000 on Universal. The album debuted at #82 in the U.S. and spent 6 weeks total on the Billboard 200. This is a significant drop from their last album Aquarium, which peaked at #7 and spent 50 total weeks on the chart.
The lead single, "Cartoon Heroes", peaked at #7 in the UK in February 2000 and received top 10 positions globally except for the U.S where it failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
The second single, "Around the World", peaked at #26 in UK and was the last release in most territories before the band split in 2001.
Scandinavia and other European countries saw further releases of "Bumble Bees" and "We Belong to the Sea" during late 2000, both receiving only moderate success.
