Where is that one Rupee ???
try this riddle
Three friends went to a hotel.
The bill was Rs 75/-
Each one contributed Rs.25/-.
The waiter took the bill to the
Cashier.
The cashier was happy & decided
To give them a discount of Rs.5/- & asked the waiter to return
them
Rs.5/-.
Now the waiter was confused.
How to distribute Rs 5 among 3 persons?
He kept Rs 2 in his pocket &
Gave one rupee to each one of the 3 persons.
So initially each one had contributed
Rs.25. Now as they are given 1 rupee back, their contribution
reduces
to
Rs 24.
They all contributed Rs 24 --
That is 24x3=72 & 2 rupees are in the waiters pocket.
The total becomes 74. But they
Had paid Rs 75.
Where is the remaining 1 rupee?????????

there is no one rupee

After getting back one rupee.

everybody paid 24

and the bill was 70.

and the 2 rupees were in waiter pocket

so 70+2=72=24x3

    EVRY1 PAID < 24 NOT 24 .

    3 RS THE  WAITER  GGAVE TO FRIENDS

    2 RS THE WAITER KEPT WITH HIM

   70+3+2 = 75

first they paid 25 each

then they got 3 rupees back

then their paymant would be 24 each

look bill was 70 after discount ..... it mean everybody should had to pay 23.33 each. but waiter gave 'em each one rupee back..... this made their payment 24 each.

they didnot pay 23.33 each. they paid 24 each.(70 bill and 2 in waiter pocket=72 .......this all amount came from 3frnds's pockets)

because waiter didnt give 'em all 5 rupees back.
